Can Your Claim Be Denied?

Some individuals may assume that their worker's comp claim will always be approved. However, there can be a number of reasons why the insurance or employer would attempt to deny your claim. What Happens If Your Claim Is Approved?

In addition to having your medical expenses covered, you may also qualify for partial wages while you are recovering. As your treatment progresses, you may be allowed to return to work for a limited duties prior to fully recovering, but this will depend on whether the employer has a position with responsibilities that will not stress or worsen the employee's injury.
